A little about Nicole…she has a Masters in Faith-Based Social Work and once held a professional license in that field. Nicole was a licensed social worker for 3 years in various settings where she was able to provide secular and faith-based emotional support and guidance to mostly teens-adults. Nicole is currently doing youth outreach, honing her leadership skills, and mentoring teen girls in a parachurch environment.

Nicole feels convicted by the call of God on her life to be a vessel for God to restore hope to individuals. That being said, Nicole has been the subordinate to a myriad of leaders who did not lead like Christ calls us to lead—servant-hearted & trauma-informed. Nicole’s goal with Sinzinkayo Mentoring & Mental Health Education is to fill the gap between mental health and the church. Many Christians have left the church, or have reduced their participation in church communities due to the consistent pattern of spiritual bypassing and invalidation of mental health needs in church members, mainly by the words and actions of church leaders.
